Hog Wire Fencing – A Stylish Option for Greenbelt Lots

Did you know that if your home borders a greenbelt, you can install a hog wire fence in your backyard? Hog wire fencing has become an increasingly popular fencing option that offers durability and visibility. Originally used for agricultural farming, this fence type now offers versatility in residential and commercial applications, such as residential fencing, deck railing, and safety barriers for parks.

Hog wire fencing is constructed using heavy-gauge or galvanized wire arranged in a grid pattern as fence panels. The grid wired pattern may be in silver or powder-coated black, where black wiring will provide greater visibility, additional durability, and a more modern aesthetic appeal.

Here are a few examples of completed hog wire fences in the neighborhood. Please note, this fencing option is only offered to homes that border a greenbelt and may only be used for the back fence line.
