One of Klahanie's amenities is the Pea Patch, which is made up of community-managed open spaces where gardeners use small plots of land to grow food, flowers, and herbs. Located off of the corner of 256th and Klahanie Blvd, this garden has 27 plots which include the following sizes:

The pea patch opens annually from April 1 to October 31. Registration for a plot(s) is required. Existing gardeners can first retain or switch plots from February 1 to February 29. After this period, any remaining plots become accessible to all Klahanie residents starting March 1 to March 31. Registration will be open on February 1, 2024.
