Report a Non-Emergency

Your Klahanie Neighborhood Patrol (KNP) kindly requests that should you find yourself confronted with a nuisance issue in Klahanie that is non-criminal in nature, such as an HOA violation, please direct the complaint to the HOA office.  However, should you witness overt criminal activity, such as an in-progress theft, call 911 immediately.

For all other instances, suspicious persons or vehicles, for example, please call the King County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at (206) 296-3311.  Since all of your KNP officers are fully-commissioned deputies employed by the King County Sheriff’s Office, they are actively listening to all emergency and non-emergency dispatched radio traffic occurring in the Klahanie area, and will respond immediately.

If you’re unable to wait for an officer to respond, please consider filing a police report online – the portal, as well as instructions, criteria and tips can be found at the email address listed below.  As your KNP director, I conduct frequent crime analyses to address potentially emerging trends.  Our data driven response is more accurately and efficiently tailored when community members file reports appropriately and in a timely fashion.  Thank you for your continued vigilance.
