(PLACEHOLDER A LOT OF IT IS FROM GOOGLE & WILL NEED TO ADD OUR OWN)
Klahanie is located in the heart of Sammamish, Washington. We are the largest homeowners association in Washington state as well as the oldest. We are proud to have spent generations working alongside our residents in building a warm and welcoming community.
Klahanie opened in 1985 as one of the first planned communities in the Pacific Northwest. The 884-acre (358 ha), 3,200-home community was planned with small yards to complement large communal open spaces. The last of the development's homes were finished in 1994 and currently 10,000 people live in Klahanie.
Klahanie is home to many different neighborhoods inside its boundaries, such as Heatherwood and The Willows. There are two schools in Klahanie, Challenger, Endeavor Elementary School, Beaver Lake Middle School, and Skyline High School all in the Issaquah School District. There are two community pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, and parks.
Klahanie Homeowners Association was formed to maintain and preserve Klahanie's neighborhood, residents, animals, nature and more. We have kept to this promise since then!
