Pea Patch
The Pea Patch

If you enjoy growing things but lack the space to do as much as you would like, Pea Patch gardening might be the answer for you. Pea Patch gardening is a marvelous opportunity to enjoy the company of other people who like to work the soil, and to have fun producing something to show for your efforts.

The Pea Patch is used for recreational vegetables and flower gardening for family use, and also for growing vegetables for local charities. It's located down the gravel road behind Sundance and is run by volunteers who live in Klahanie. It is open to all Klahanie residents and plots can be rented annually for a small fee.

The active growing season is from April 1st through October 31st. However, growing year round is an option for those who wish.

A full size plot is approximately 10’ x 20’ and rents for $50; and a half plot is approximately 10’ x 10’ and rents for $25.

If you would like more information on the Pea Patch, please email Lori at: goerlitz@comcast.net and she will email you the information needed to sign up for a plot.
