2017 Adult Tennis Lessons with Columbia Athletic Club - Pine Lake


This summer adult tennis lessons will be offered by Columbia Athletic Club - Pine Lake.  Their talented and enthusiastic team of tennis pros will help both beginner and intermediate players with your tennis game.


Adult Beginners / Advanced Beginners:  Tuesday & Thursday 6pm - 7pm
A Co-ed Beginners -Advanced class for those who would like to learn the game of tennis. This 2 week session will cover the fundamentals of the game:  stroke production, rules, scoring, and etiquette. Our emphasis will be on building skill through repetition.

Adult Intermediate: Tuesday & Thursday 7pm - 8pm
Co-ed class designed for those who have completed the beginning level class or have been away from the game for a period of time. This 2 week session will focus on refining your strokes with emphasis on doubles play, court positioning, shot selection, and tactics.
Cost is $68 per session for Klahanie residents, Non-Resident cost is $77 per session

All lessons are held at the Mt ViewCourts…. Min of 4 participants to hold class


PRIVATE LESSONS
Klahanie homeowners have the opportunity to participate in private or individualized group lessons. Private lessons (1 participant) are $70 per hour for Klahanie Residents and Non-Residents are $75 per hour.
Arrangements for private lessons can be made by calling the Pine Lake Club directly at:  425-313-0123, ask for Tennis.

MIXED SOCIAL DATES: 
August 18th/NO CHARGE-Registration Required
Come join the Pine Lake staff and other Klahanie residentsfor a fun evening of mix and match Co-ed doubles. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Time: 6 pm – 7:30 pm.
Must be 18 years, able to rally at medium pace, serve and know the basics of double play.


Meet Your Instructors

Dusko Andreic – Tennis Director

Dusko is Pine Lake’s most experienced Tennis Pro and is USPTA 1 certified. His expertise is a thorough analysis and realistic assessment of each student’s skill level. This is followed by a step-by-step plan on how to achieve the next level of play, with emphasis on detailed stroke production, as well as a mental aspect of the tennis game. Dusko has been a tennis professional for 15 years prior to becoming Tennis director of Columbia Athletic Clubs-Pine Lake. He has been the Tennis Director at Pine Lake for the past six years and has coached many top ranked Washington 3A and 4A juniors.   Dusko@columbiaathletic.com


Yuhta Kayama – USPTA Certified Teaching Pro

Yuhta is an energetic and knowledgeable pro who focuses with you on basic body mechanics, stroke technique and match strategy. He is a highly renowned player who has long years of experience on the court as an advanced junior player. Participating and holding places for sectionals, endorsements, and several national level tournaments. As well as being ranked top in the Pacific Northwest region as well as the national division. Yuhta, USPTA Certified, has been teaching under Dusko's guidance at Pine Lake Club since 2010 working with both the junior and adult students. Contact Yuhta directly at  yuhtak@columbiaathletic.com

Sam Rechtin

Sam is an energetic and knowledgeable pro who will focus with you on the basic body mechanics, stroke technique, and match strategy. Sam graduated from Western Washington University in 2010 with a degree in Kinesiology (the study of motion & movement in the human body) where he acted as a player/coach in his final season on the tennis team. Sam, USPTA-Certified, has been teaching at Pine Lake Club full time since 2010 working with both the junior and adult students.  samr@columbiaathletic.com
