Issaquah Fall City Road Project Update

5/2/2019

Dear Klahanie Residents:

Get
Ready for Two Years of Increased Traffic Congestion and Confusion.

By now, most of
you are aware that the City of Sammamish is making some significant
improvements on the Issaquah Fall City Road. They project that the three-phases
of the program will last at least two years. During those years traffic on the
affected roadway will either be totally stopped or will operate with
“construction zone “irregularities. It is expected that those thousands of
families living to the east of Klahanie will have few options to leave or to
return to their homes without cutting through Klahanie. Without traffic signal
timing changes on the Issaquah Pine Lake exit, we could see significant traffic
backups entering and exiting Klahanie.

For the City of
Sammamish information, use this link and sign up for their road closure
information notices.
